Taco Palenque Weslaco

"Stopped in here for lunch while passing through town. This place was fantastic! Everything was cooked fresh and was well prepared. The flour tortillas were handmade and awesome. Steak fajita tacos were wonderful, with flavorful, juicy steak that was perfectly cooked. There is a salsa bar with many options. Also, they have complementary chips available. Their chips are my favorite kind – nice and thick, very crispy and hold up well for dipping salsa! Highly recommended."

"We went for lunch and I can tell you this place is the bomb!! The food was amazing, we knew we were in the right place when we walked in and we were the only winter Texans!! This is where the locals go! I had the fish tacos combo, two big pieces of fish per taco! The salsa bar is amazing, the avocado salsa, is delicious, as is the grilled onions!!!! Amazing!! If I could give 6 stars I would. Definitely recommend!"

"This location is very nice and quiet, not much action going on for a Friday very nice and peaceful dinner. I enjoyed my fajita plate, and my husband ordered the Enchilada swisas, which were very good too. As far as breakfast they have nice and good tacos."

"The breakfast tacos were positively delicious. They were sooooo freaking good I didn't even take a picture. They also provide free tortillas on request. They also have pancakes which I tried. I enjoyed them too. They were way better than I expected. I love that their is a self serve salsa/chip bar which is kept very clean and orderly. They also have Jamaica and Horachata....and Pibb, which is like Dr. Pepper's rabid cousin. The service was great. There's also a self-service kiosk. The restrooms are clean and have a hand sanitizer in each stall (well at least the men's...I can't speak on the women's.) I just know the kitchen is immaculate based on that alone. I highly recommend Taco P for breakfast!"

"They have the best barbacoa tacos hands down. They are authentic Mexican food and a super large portion. They have all of the condiments and extras that you would need.
